Hope is a town of 7000 people, nestled just inside the Cascade Mountains, just 2 hours east of Vancouver on the #1 highway. The Coquihalla river meets the mighty Fraser river right here in Hope.

We have many natural trails through parks filled with magnificent cedar trees to explore or stroll downtown, shopping through antique shops or enjoying a bite in our many restaurants, all while enjoying the breath-taking views of the surrounding mountains.

A one day visit to Hope is never long enough to take in our day trips all within a 45 minute drive. This could include a stroll through beautiful Minter Gardens, a short hike and picnic to view Bridal Veil Falls, a soak in the mineral pool, or stroll through the shops at Harrison Hot Springs, a river rafting expedition and a visit to historic Yale (heart of the gold rush trail), an airtram ride over Hell's Gate Canyon on the Fraser River, where you can try your hand at gold panning, or a trip to Manning Park for a day of hiking or canoeing in summer, skiing in the winter.
